Sunday, minus the sun part...

Today was a rainy day but I don't mind cause that only helps spring get here a little faster, although the rain did make it difficult for me to finish my fundraising for lacrosse.  While I was out and about in the neighborhood I came up to this one house and I swear THE MAN LOOK EXACTLY LIKE DEXTER!!  I was just thankful he didn't want any cookie dough and I quickly hurried away to the next house.  Now I'm pretty sure my cat Vladimir >^..^< (I had to actually look up how to do that.  Along with the step by step instructions the site provided, it also shared some tips and warnings xD) is still mad at me at me for visiting the house that holds his enemy cat.  BOSCO :O!!!!  They also had this very nice kitty cat who somehow managed to hug me...  The rainy weather helped me get some donations tho, because people felt bad for me :).

So later in the evening today I went off to the pool and became COACH PAIGE!!!! I think I’m pretty good at it, even if most the parents think I act just like their children (minus the fact that some of them look like they’re about to drown any second).  I also don’t spit.....like some of the boys in my group do to each other.  The other week I unfortunately got in the middle of it and yeah, it was kinda gross.  I started calling the kids in my group "young grasshoppers", they always laugh at this and then explain to me that they are not grasshoppers.  All but one kid who insists that he is a cricket...  This was also the same kid who had at the beginning of practice called himself an eggplant.  That was what I thought at first but it turns out he was just explaining to me that he was eight.  To me at least, eight and eggplant sound so similar they could practically be the same word.  At swim today I was surprised that I didn’t get kicked like I usually do, or hit in the head with a kick board.  Maybe getting kicked so much is only a result of teaching eight year olds how to swim breaststroke (some kinda form of it...).
